Pre-Orders and Upcoming Releases

Hello and welcome to the blog. Today I want to talk about two upcoming releases.

First up is the Books Of Horror Community Anthology Vol. 5, parts 1 and 2. This is a two volume anthology featuring 93 stories. My story Nightmare is in Part. 2

Available 1/23/26

Books Of Horror Vol. 5
Stories live within everyone, Stories that scratch and claw until they're finally unleashed into the world. Many contain horrors that no one should witness and slip into the ether, while others get remembered and immortalized in the pages of books. Take a journey and explore the horrors held within for your morbid delight.

Next up is the Pretty Little Slashers  Valentine's Anthology.  This one features my story Snapped and was supposed to release on Valentine's Day, however it is now up for pre-order and will be available 2/7/26

Pretty Little Slashers vol. 2
An all female anthology.
Behind the lipstick and lace, something ruthless waits.
Valentines Day isn’t just for love... It’s for vengeance.
It’s for every single woman who had been scorned and is sick of not being appreciated.

That's it for today. Until next time... Happy Reading!

The Blake's: The Birth Of A New Series

Hello everyone and welcome to my writing world! Today I want to tell you about the book series I have planned, The Blake's. I am having a wonderful time with this series. I will admit that when I started this series I definitely did a lot more plotting than I have for any other story I've ever written.

This series will consist of five books. Keeping MyKinze Safe, memories Lost, Protecting The Witness, With Deadly Intent, and Heart of A Hero.

Now I'm going to tell you about each book.

Blurb:
Roy Blake wanted nothing more than to see David Quinn behind bars. However, Quinn had other plans.
Roy thought his family was safe until Quinn went after his daughter. Now he has to do everything he can to protect her.
Will Quinn be able to close enough to MyKinze to take her out? Or will they be able to keep her safe?

Memories Lost (Book 2)

Characters
Eden Riley
Tyler Blake
Melany Riley
Zach Warren

Blurb:
Eden has no memory and only a photo of her daughter. She has no clue how she ended up on the side if the road. Zach Warren has always been a bad guy. After what he did to Eden he didn't expect anyone to find her.
Now Eden has to stop Zach before he can destroy her life forever.

Protecting The Witness (Book 3)
Characters
Kasi Blake
Damon Cavanaugh
Glenn Maxwell

Blurb:
Kasi Blake witnessed a shooting. Now the man responsible is after her. She is forced to go into hiding.
Damon Cavanaugh is in charge of protecting Kasi. He is former FBI and assigned to keep her safe.
Can they stop Glenn Maxwell before he gets rid of Kasi permanently?

With Deadly Intent (Book 4)

Characters
Julie Blake
Grayson Manning
Charles Westbrook
Connor Blake

Blurb:
Julie Blake told the police about her ex stealing money from the bank where they worked. Now Charles is back and wants what's his. Julie and their unborn child.
Grayson Manning must protect Julie and the baby at all costs. Can they stop Charles from getting his revenge?

Heart Of A Hero (Book 5)

Characters
Tyler Blake
Bailee Ryan
Eric Wilcox

Blurb:
Tyler Blake is trying to find the man behind the brutal murder of a local family. Bailee Ryan is now being targeted by the same man. Can they stop him before it's too late?

I am loving these characters and can't wait to share their stories with all of you. Oh and I am also thinking there might also be a spin off series. Maybe the younger characters when they're grown. Of course I can't really share that with you since I haven't actually done anything with that idea.

I hope you enjoyed this peek into The Blake's series. Until next time... Happy Writing!

Rise Of The Undead will be submitted to the Survival Anthology and is my second Zombie story. The Snowman will be submitted to the Sinister dreams Anthology. I have more that I need to plan out as well. Plus I am working on something else that will be available this April. I can't give much details about the project just yet. I will also have a story featured in the Books Of Horror Community Anthology later this year. No release date has been set since we are currently working on the cover. My story Nightmare will be featured in that one.

I will be posting more about my stories this year. So my next post will feature one of those stories I mentioned above. Now for a small taste of Snapped (Coming 2/14/26)

Marci and Keith have been married for ten years. That's a decade of both mental and physical abuse from not only her husband, but two of his friends. This Valentine's Day they'll find out what happens when Marci has finally snapped.

Trigger Warnings:
Abuse
Torture of Abusers

Have a wonderful week!

My Thoughts On AI In The Book World

Hi everyone! Welcome to the blog!

Today I want to talk to you about something that has been affecting the book world lately. AI (*gasps in horror). I know there are people out there who loved using it to create things. I'm not against other people using the dreaded thing, that's a you decision. Personally I find it to be annoying so I don't use it.

I have seen so many posts lately about how if certain things are used by an author than the author must be using AI to write. Okay I'll admit that there are some out there who do use AI to write an entire book and publish it. That's their decision. I can't force them to change their ways. However it's not really the author writing if it's AI. Myself I could never use it to write. If I claim I wrote something you best believe I wrote it!

AI uses other people's work to learn how to write. That's honestly cheating in my opinion. How can you feel good about yourself if you're telling the world you wrote something you didn't? I would feel ashamed and never write again.

This whole thing about authors not being allowed to use em dashes or ellipsis is just ridiculous. People need to check out some of the classic books out there (like Emily Dickinson and John Knowles.)
Those are not something AI just randomly decided to add. They were around a very long time before AI.

Then there's the whole if an author uses a certain sentence they must be using AI.  He padded across the floor and she let out the breath she didn't know she was holding. Pretty sure they weren't invented by AI. I've used them a time or two.

Those readers who want to create a lynch mob to tear down authors simply because AI used something they did need to get a grip. They need to get off their pedestals and realize they're not always right about everything.

Don't be the person who destroys someone livelihood, their career for no other reason than because it makes you feel good about yourself. Be kind and respectful to people. The moral of the story is don't be an idiot!

I will continue to use my em dashes and ellipsis like I always have. That's my choice and my right. If you don't like how an author writes don't read their books. I bet you'll eventually run out of reading material if you keep putting authors down for doing author things. Get the facts straight here people and remember this last thing...

AI DIDN'T TEACH HUMANS TO WRITE. IT LEARNED FROM WHAT HUMANS ALREADY SAID!!!
