What Do Writers Do On Rainy Days?
What am I doing right now, at this moment? Well...writing this blog post obviously. What else is happening at my house on this rainy evening??? You guessed it...writing!!! I am currently working on the first book in a series I have planned. Other than that my time is being used to work on not one, but two short stories.
I guess you could say it has been a busy time in my writing life. I seriously need to narrow my writing projects down a bit. So three is the limit for now. Of course when it comes to rainy days like this when you can't go out, the boredom takes hold and your writer's brain kicks in. I have all these ideas scrambling around in my head all fighting to be set free.
How do you deal with all the craziness in your head? You spend the rainy days putting all those ideas down onto paper. Either that or you go insane trying to get them all to simply shut up for five seconds.
So as I close this post I am at my desk jotting down ideas and characters, and thinking of plots for the stories they demand to be a part of. As a writer, how do you spend your rainy down time? If you want just leave a comment on your rainy day rituals. Until next time... LATER DAYS!!!!!!
